Abbiamo già raccontato nei post precedenti quanto sia importante per noi fare lavori di qualità, rispettare i tempi concordati coi clienti, ma anche lavorare in modo sostenibile; abbiamo quindi deciso d allargare l'organico in anticipo rispetto alle previsioni.
Stiamo cercando almeno un collaboratore da inquadrare in un primo tempo con contratto a progetto, con l'obbiettivo di darci una mano sullo sviluppo dei progetti più urgenti. Successivamente, visto che sappiamo quanto sia importante lavorare con tranquillità, l'idea sarebbe di inquadrarla con un contratto più stabile.
Le tecnologie ricorrenti sulla gran parte dei progetti attivi sono:
- Ruby
- Rails
- PostgreSQL
- FreeBSD
Ma per ovvi motivi non disdegniamo anche Java, PHP, MySQL, Linux, sqlite, openldap; ma anche tecnologie come couchdb, hadoop, solr, freeswitch, asterisk, dovecot, postfix, e molte altre che usiamo e/o proponiamo ai nostri clienti.
Cerchiamo una persona che sia ragionevolmente produttiva da subito su Ruby on Rails e almeno FreeBSD e/o Linux; il resto lo può tranquillamente imparare da noi.

The few months since we launched ZephirWorks flew by, filled with many interesting projects but also satisfactions and great feedback from the first customers, and the atmosphere in the company is electrifying, as in any good startup. On the other hand, we have been working like crazy, probably too much. We have already mentioned in previous posts how important it is to us to deliver quality, respect project deadlines, but also work in a fashion that is sustainable over the long term; that's why we have decided to start growing the team in advance of our initial plans. We are looking for at least one full-time person on a project contract, to help us with the most important projects; after the initial period, we will probably offer him/her a permanent position.
